Black Owned Chicago recently released our first short documentary “Farewell Obama” and everything about the event was intentional. We chose The Harper Theater, because of its location: Hyde Park a.k.a. Home of Obama. The screening was January 19, 2017, because that was President Obama’s last day of his presidency. Tickets sold out in 2 days. Check out some pictures from that special evening. (Photo credit: Mamadou Sewa Bah)
Guests received swag bags that featured these goodies. Special thanks to our sponsors: Swish Dreams, Eden BodyWorks, KAIKE, All State, Sweet Blooms Cupcakes, and Heavenly Publishing.
